Welcome to the website of Big Rock Boers!  Big Rock Boers is located in Northeast Oklahoma and is owned and operated by David, Rhonda, Jacob, Zachery and Seth Edens.

We started raising goats in 1999 for brush control.  Our initial herd consisted of 25 commercial does and a Spanish/Boer cross buck.  In 2003 we decided to add some quality stock to our herd.  After much research on the Boer breed, we contacted Jerry and Carole Warrick of Brazos Boer Company and headed to Robinson, Texas.  We not only purchased a great set of goats from them, but we also made some really good friends!  Jerry was instrumental in helping us get our embryo transfer program off to a good start.  Thank you Jerry!  John and Jackie Edwards have done our embryo transfers with great success.  We are very excited to have just completed the purchase of their buck -- Ennobled Eggspense Account.  Thank you John and Jackie!
